I am a little confused, and getting more so every time I hear the arguements for and against the closures of the R.A.F. Bases, Kinloss and Lossiemouth.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but did not David Cameron’s government announce they are to close, because they need to make cutbacks? They are costing too much in other words.
Why then are people signing a petition to save Lossiemouth? Is it because they are earning money from it? Very few people earn money from them who are not in the services, and they can go anywhere. Those selfish few who earn money from them must then be taking money from the government, which the government say they can’t afford. Morayshire then would be better off without them? It would save money?
