I had a problem with breathing cold air in my bed. I discovered that the freezing east wind was seeping in through the expel air vent. I had to keep the toilet door closed, but it was difficult to remember when half asleep.
Last night I taped newspaper over it, and solved the problem. (Temporary repair whilst east wind prevail’s, only) I could have used cloth and a length of elastic? (I’m going to have to gently soak the tape off with solvent. Grrrrrrr) Maybe they should be fitted with none return flaps?
An older person, who would not even know what the problem was, would not have lived ’til morning. The air in the house was hazy with frost, and it was like sleeping outside.
