People of Kensington, Please

People of Kensington, Please:

You have done so well on your own so far. Do not let the authorities take over. Hold your meetings with a view to re-housing families. Take heart from seeing them set up in homes again, and helping them find their feet once more. Take peaceful control of your own communities.

Do not exclude experts, police, council, government, or any authority, but take charge yourselves. Invite them in. Keep them in the background as authority, but treat them as equals as people. They can advise you on many things. Listen. Turn your anger to the future, and organising it as it should be. Show them you can. The anger will give way to a positive, and single purpose, as developed by you working together.

Take control, and be fair to each other. Embrace authority as part of your plans.

Be one in faith in each other. God bless you all.
